Digital speed sensor
One of the most significant parts of a car is the speedometer, which measures the car's speed. There are many ways to create such devices as electromagnetic induction- or physics-based solutions. For model autonomous vehicles the best way is the magnetic-based tachometer. The other way is too complicated for this model car. This sensor measures how much time passes by the magnet before the sensor, and with the diameter of the wheel of the car, we can calculate the car's speed.
